Over the past few years Boris Levitt of Renaissance Furniture Restoration has restored several pieces of furniture for me: a small table that had sat outdoors for years and now looks like new, a piano bench with an extremely cracked old finish, a Victorian rocker that needed both refinishing and reupholstering, and a large dining table, which involved matching the color of old and new woods.

In all these jobs Mr. Levitt has done meticulous work. I have been very satisfied with his work, attention to details, promptness and, not least, his reasonable prices.

Boris did amazing work on restoring three pieces of vintage furniture. He did an impeccable job, even finishing the work more than a week ahead of time simply because I asked if it was a possibility. His prices are fair; he gives an estimate based on email pictures, and then comes out to confirm when he picks up the pieces. Great work, nice man, would definitely use him again.

The chairs I brought to Boris I purchased at Ross and the cushions were this awful, sickly color green. Boris not only did a fantastic job reupholstering them but he also charged less than the other shops I called for quotes.
I later saw these chairs going for several hundred dollars each at Macys. Mine look ten times better and exactly as I wanted them - at a fraction of the price! I definitely recommend Boris!
